What The Heck Kind Of Blog Is This??

For four year now I have been writing, editing, rewriting, and polishing my now completed manuscript of 373 pages that I named, The Black Amethyst. My novel is a young adult fiction involving a romance too broken to ever succeed, angels, demons, the impenetrable bond between sisters, betrayal, and purpose. I'm currently working on publishing my masterpiece and I have a small fan club building here in my home town. If you love to read and those topics interest you, please! Help me out! Quick catch up!

Look at me, writing my first post and what not! Rolling with the big boys now! Perhaps a quick catch up on my book, The Black Amethyst, and life so far?
If you don't know much about my soon-to-be published manuscript, go have a look see on one of my gadgets labeled The Black Amethyst. Maybe once I build up a little bit of an audience I'll begin posting a chapter or two here and there! :)
For those of you that don't know me, I am currently loving the love of my life, Daniel Trujillo:

After Daniel discovered my talent with words, he informed me that when he was serving overseas (he's in the army) he served with a man by the name of Jay that now co-owns a publishing/directing film company of some sort in California. Jay has published a few books himself and has editors for his company, so Daniel sent my manuscript over to Jay in January and now it is currently in the hands of his editors. The next step will be publication! My dream will come true :)
As a bonus, Jay liked my writing so much that he actually wants me to write a few screens for his upcoming movie! I'll be meeting with him this week to discuss the details! Here's a quick copy and paste of the actual email Jay sent to Daniel:

I am shocked and amazed of your girlfriends talent. I am sending this book forward to my editors and see if we can get the ball rolling. I would also like to sit down with Storm and see if she would be interested in writing some screens for my upcoming movie. I will be in War College till 28MAR12. I will come out to Utah and visit you Mormon's. I wish the best for you and your girlfriend.

The Black Amethyst

The Black Amethyst is built and centered around The Book of Life. (See Revelation 20:12, 15.) When the archangel Michael discovers that Lucifer drove his eternal mother to madness while she was on earth, causing her to commit suicide which removed her name from the book, he takes drastic measures to prevent the final days. Michael steals the book from Heaven and hides it on the earth. To assure that the book is found, God casts five angels down to the earth; the sister of Michael, brother of Gabriel, brother of Raphael, daughter of Azriel, and the son of Uriel. But by taking a body, their heavenly memories are wiped clean. With nothing to identify who they are but for a small crystal imbedded in their skin, they must discover their purpose on their own.
New America, struggling in the year 3059, is where the five angels are drawn together. After destruction by both man and nature, the world is forced to lapse into simpler traditions where the mightiest sword governs both land and subjects. Two of the five angels, seventeen year old September and her twelve year old sister Sky, are the heroines of my book. They struggle to hide the small jewel imbedded in their skin to protect their peaceful home life, but after an inexplicable accident that leaves a wicked man of religion with only one arm, their mother is accused and executed for the practicing of witch craft. Having no father, the girls turn their back on everything they know and step into a new world. They are captured by two very different brothers, Keaton and Alec, and are taken to a rebellion that stands against the cruel and heartless King Beckom. Here, September will meet and become hopelessly infatuated with an inexcusably flippant boy named Kale.
In a desperate attempt to find the angels to gain knowledge of the hidden book, Lucifer works through King Beckom, filling his head with prophesies and visions aimed at the five youth. The sisters will travel from city to city with their new allies, all the while being hunted by King Beckom, angels, and the devil himself. Man and Drekker alike will come together in an epic battle to dethrone the king.
Follow September's story riddled with betrayel, soaked in misery, pinched with hope, and bursting at the seams with the all dominant need to keep her sister safe, no matter how impossible that proves to be.
